Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Director – Events, Conferences & Special Projects, the (Senior) Sales Manager is one of leads in the team to be an enabler to deliver Mira way unique and exemplary services to the clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Able to identify potential business for event planning solutions and services, preferably with events engaged with hotels, though projects conducted outside hotels would also be considered
  • Focus on the generating of extra incremental revenues into the hotel
  • Orchestrate in all business related initiatives with terrific negotiation strategies
  • Ensure seamless event implementation to secure the clients satisfaction and referral businesses
  • Revisit the ongoing sales strategies and fine-tune them to make further breakthrough in sales targets
  • Expand the business networks and collect market intelligence in holistic point of view, which includes but not limited to sales calls, entertainment and attending social events, etc
  • Manage an effective database to facilitate the client relationship building as well as business development

Job Requirements:

  • Higher diploma or above in hotel for catering studies or related disciplines
  • At least four years of relevant experience with sound track of record in managing catering sales business
  • Possession a full understanding of professional business ethics, decorum and social skills
  • Meticulous and be able to think out of the box with can-do working attitude and negotiation skill
  • Proficient command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua)
  • Hands-on knowledge in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Candidates with less experience can be considered as Assistant Sales Manager
