Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager, Make & Pack is responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling of the processes, monitor the whole meal assembly process to ensure accurate amount is produced at the high quality and provides administrative support to the department.

In this role, you will:

• Develop or update standard operating procedures and best practices for production operations
• Ensure that all equipment, materials and supplies are readily and continuously available to carry out production processes
• Address employee concerns and customer complaints in professional manner
• Assist in interviewing, hiring and training new employees
• Manage performance review, appraisals, and promotions for employees
• Optimize production operations to meet quality and performance standards
• Ensure safety measures and procedures are followed to reduce unexpected incidents and hazards.
• To ensure hygiene standards laid down by the Company is fully met; client and the public health authorities are strictly adhered
• Ensure production process is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Determine resource requirements and work allocation for production operation
• Support the continuous improvement effort, initiates problem solving efforts and assures implementation of solutions
• Conduct department meeting and briefing the team on a daily basis
• Ensure labor and material controls are in place and effective
• Contact with other department on all relevant matters

• Form 5 / DSE or above
• Minimum 3 years' solid work experience in production management with at least 1 year of which at managerial /supervisory level
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Able to resolve the problem for the department
• Able to review, observe and analyze the information from various sources
• With continuous improvement knowledge
• Must have the ability to give negative and positive feedback to employees on a daily basis
• Must be innovative and have the ability to make changes to the operation as needed to further improve the work environment and unit performance
• Basic computer skills required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products preferred
• Good command of written and oral communication skills in Chinese and English
