Miki Travel is hiring a Product Development Manager to manage, develop and create a collection of custom journeys for marketing and selling purposes. This role works with key partners to develop programs and serves for eCommerce team. The position also partners with our Marketing Department to develop accurate Custom Journey trip materials. Our ideal candidate has an innovative mindset, a background in vendor management and is passionate about travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the product innovation process of ideation, testing and implementation of our trips library, working with internal and external partners (travel agency).
• Responsible for detailed supplier communications, year-round pricing and pre-journey advisements.
• Vet and consciously build rapport and relationships with domestic and international vendors, mainly via email but sometimes via phone.
• Partner with Marketing as needed including developing and executing marketing emails, developing and proofing journey books, and maintaining and updating the Custom Journeys content on the website.
• Assist department with proofing pre-trip and final documents.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5 years equivalent work experience, preferably in the travel agent/industry.
• Strong technical aptitude and skills to quickly grasp new software
• Manage product inventory, product sourcing
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, and to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
