Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day operation of a private dining, meeting and recreation area serving ultra-high network guest and senior management including cost and budget control, maintenance of the facilities and equipment and regularly stock taking;
  • Provide quality service to guest by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously;
  • Provide delightful food and beverage service to the guest;
  • Design exceptional menu so as to meet guest expectation and preference;
  • Take a proactive stance in monitoring guest service levels and liaise with concerned departments whenever required;
  • Maintain a good relationship with guest, builds rapport and offer personalized service and assistance;
  • Make continuous effort to improve the overall service quality;
  • Provide recommendation on wine, dining, cigar, tea or other lifestyle products to the senior management;
  • Maintain a polished, well trained and professional team capable of delivering unparalleled services;
  • Closely monitor team member’s performance and proactively provide feedback, training, coaching and mentoring if appropriate;
  • Ensure the team closely monitor quantity of food and beverage items, proactively refill/ restock, and ensure food temperature are kept at an expected level;
  • Arrange events or banquet functions of the company, business partner or guest from preparing decoration, event rundown, logistic into implementation;
  • Ensure front-of-house and back-of-house are always kept clean and organized;
  • Ensure the grooming standard of the team is well maintained;
  • Proactively sourcing food and beverage products, utensils, equipment so as to enhance the overall dining experience;
  • Work closely with both local and overseas suppliers and manage day-to-day procurement operations activities in line with company strategy and standards including but not limited to food and beverage & leisure products, utensils, equipment for the club and kitchen;
  • Any other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by senior management;

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Hospitality Management or related disciplines would be an advantage;
  • Food and beverage background is preferred with minimum 3 years working experience as Assistant Manager in a luxurious club, hotel, fine dining restaurant or leisure aspects; banquet operation experience is a plus;
  • Good knowledge in cocktail, wine, sake and tea;
  • Outstanding communication skills and able to communicate with different levels of people;
  • A good team player who is guest oriented, attentive and attention to detail;
  • Proficient in written and spoken Cantonese, Mandarin and English;
  • Able to work on shifts including Public Holidays;
  • Immediate available is highly preferred
