Our client is one of Fortune Global 500 Companies. They are now looking for Category Manager to join to oversee their convenience store business. The employment is under one year contract, subject to renewal. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.

Job Description

• Be accountable for the performance of the category, including the range, pricing, and promotion.
• Source and select new products to grow the category
• Work closely with suppliers to build win-win long term relationship and ensure the stock supply is well managed.
• Manage end-to-end execution of promotion materials, including the briefing, drafting and checking of creatives and copies on different ATL and BTL channels.
• Handle internal communications within marketing and operations team, retailers, and frontline staff.
• Set and monitor the operations standards for the category, and ensure thePOSM displays are well executed at store.
• Work closely with retailer and frontline staff at the stores to drive standardized operations excellence across the network.
• Identify the training and development needs, address such needs by providing on-the-spot training, or arrange internal/external training.

The Person

• Bachelor degree holder
• 5+ years of related experience in category management or trade marketing, preferably from Convenience Store, Supermarket or Department Stores
• Experience working with suppliers and retailers
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Category Manager
