Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sourcing and monitoring the food product’s quality and packaging;
• Assist in formulating a long-term purchasing plan with a view to controlling the material and storage cost
• Forecasting price and market trends
• Monitor suppliers’ performance and conduct suppliers’ appraisals
• Source and develop new suppliers and maintain good working relationships with existing suppliers.
• Source potential suppliers to support the operating team to introduce new products and perform follow-up works
• Ensure compliance with the company’s ISO22000 and HACCP standards and requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Purchasing, Business, Supply Chain or equivalent discipline
• At least 7 years' solid purchasing experience gained from sizable Hospitality / Food & Beverage is a must
• Good leadership, organizational ability, analytical, problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience in ERP systems is preferred
• Resourceful on vendor portfolios
• Familiar with HK import procedures & food regulation
• Proficient in PC applications such as Excel, Word and Chinese word processing
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent Putonghua will definitely be an advantage
• Immediate available is highly preferred
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Purchasing Officer
