Job Description

We are looking for a gumptious, savvy and “goal-getting”  F&B Manager for our award-winning F&B outlets in Hong Kong. In this hands-on role, you will be the face of the restaurant and in charge for the daily restaurant operation by providing first class service and an effervescent culinary experience.

 The gig

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Director of Operations HK, General /Hotel Manager (s) and Head Chef to maintain an excellent communication in the F&B space and between the hotel departments.

You will keep the Venue service standards in top quality levels and take the lead in customer feedback on social media for development and recognition.

  • Takes overall responsibility for day to day operation of all Food and Beverage (including x2 Quarantine) outlets. You are a hands on leader, that leads by example always. 
  • Identifies opportunities to increase profit and create value by challenging existing processes, encouraging innovation and driving necessary change
  • Managing profit & loss, revenue forecasts, sales analysis data, operating reports and KPI setting.
  • Increases revenue by creatively marketing the Food & Beverage outlets
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of the competitor offering and be constantly up to date with the market trends and needs
  • Proactively manage promotions, marketing and have a calendar of events for the Food & Beverage operation in place
  • Display a pro-active and consistent approach to stock control, cost control and cash control; and meets financial targets set by budget.
  • Establishes, monitors and reviews standards within each outlet and ensures hands on training is carried out to achieve these standards
  • Coaches team by providing specific feedback to improve performance
  • Monitors customer comments, both in person and online, and actively solicits guest feedback in order to continually evolve product and service standards
  • Attend all required meetings to ensure communication procedures are effective and efficient on a day to day basis, so that service standards are not compromised
  • Organises Food & Beverage rotas and operations in line with anticipated business levels giving due consideration to strengths and weaknesses of personnel available and ensures that shift information is submitted to payroll on time
  • Is fully conversant with Company and Statutory Regulations / Ordinance in Hong Kong with regards to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Fire and Licensing, Accounts procedures and HR Policies
  • Design and deliver job training initiatives to the team in line with identified training needs
  • Lead & Support Food & Beverage team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talent members
  • Keeps up to date with Company disciplinary and grievance procedures and when necessary to implements these fairly, liaising with HR Business Partner
  • Lead & Support Food & Beverage team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talent members
  • Entertain potential and existing guests and follow up on timely manner should there be any issues.
  • Participation and input towards F&B Marketing activities.
  • Maintain good communication & transparency between management and team members across the venues

What you will have...

  • 5 years’ experience in Food and Beverage industry, including management experience
  • System and good financial acumen
  • Experience within a busy multi-outlet’s environment 
  • Able to influence all stakeholders and be comfortable in managing VIPs expectations
  • Good command of English and Cantonese, both written and spoken will be an advantage
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Dynamic personality and out of the box thinking
