Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement plans for the successful maintenance of the Club’s Cricket Outfield, Turf Cricket Wickets, and Lawn Bowling Greens to the highest standard
• Restore fields damaged by weather, use, or other conditions to a level commensurate with that expected athletic grounds
• Responsible for routine turf maintenance including seeding, fertilizing, mowing, trimming, irrigation
• Make recommendation on planning the appropriate use of all turf surfaces including access for sporting sections for training and other promotional, non-game day activities
• Knowledge in irrigation systems, soil and other turf trades experience
• Conduct on-the-job training to the team on grounds equipment, power tools and work methods
• Plan and direct the work of all Grounds personnel involved in the maintenance activities

 Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification / Higher Diploma / Graduate Certificate in Turf Management or other relevant discipline
• A minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in turf maintenance
• Good understanding of Cricket, Lawn Bowls, Soccer, Hockey and other field sports
• Sound knowledge of turf management trends & programs
• Demonstrated thorough knowledge of lawns, plant materials, athletic turf (natural & synthetic), irrigation systems and general landscape and grounds maintenance work scheduling 
• Overseas candidates with proven experience in grounds management are welcome
