Job Description
Your Role:
We are seeking a technical project coordinator to join our IT service team at Decathlon. As a technical project coordinator, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that all deadlines are met. You will also take the lead on IT procurements, vendor management, and IT service projects. You will be responsible for assigning tasks to the right team members, checking on their progress, and ensuring that each project is completed on time and to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Invoice management and correspondence with Finance Department to ensure payments made on time
- Vendor and Invoice management which includes request of quotations, proposals and information.
- Day-to-day tasks may include conducting market research, negotiating pricing, establishing terms and conditions for services.
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget
- Organize and plan project tasks and schedules
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and key project participants
- Stay aware of company goals and strategies to ensure projects align with business priorities
- Facilitate and encourage collaboration across departments to ensure projects are completed successfully
- Work with IT teams globally to develop cost estimates and project plans
- Create presentations and reports to communicate project status
- Keep the project team focused on the end goal
What we want from you
- Passionate in sports and tech
- Demonstrable problem-solving project management experience and skills
- A bachelor’s degree in project management, computer science, informational technology, or related fields may be recommended
- 3 years of project management experience would be highly preferred
- Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with cloud-based hosting platforms(GCP, AWS) and version control tools(Git Github) is a plus
- Experience in project management tools and software, including Jira, Hive, Asana, etc. is plus
- Knowledge of POS, Logistics System integration, project management methodologies and best practices is a strong plus
