Job Description
The Company
Our client is one of the largest institutions in Hong Kong. They are currently expanding their IT team and looking for a System Specialist.
The Role
- Independently provide technical solutions utilizing best practice.
- Follow established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines to ensure that the environments meet program requirements.
- Provide maintenance and support for Infrastructure and/or custom reporting.
- Create/modify standard operating procedures for Administration.
- Test, troubleshoot and implement new functionality.
- Provide system support during DR Drill period.
- Assist IT Team to follow the predefined procedure and working with the related Infrastructure / Application Teams to perform the DR support.
- Adhere to strict security guidelines and policy in all cases.
Your Profile
- High Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline
- At least 2 years of Unix administration working experience
- Experience in using automation tools such as Terraform
- Strong desire to learn new technologies with a positive attitude
- Familiar with Commvault is preferred
- Can communicate in both technical and general context
- Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
