My client is currently looking for a Team Lead who is specializing in backend development with PHP. The right candidate will be responsible for software design and development, team/vendor management and oversee the project delivery.

• Lead the team and 3rd party vendors to design, develop, enhance and maintain the internal systems and support the upcoming new changes and business needs
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and suggesting workable solutions/building components which fulfill the user requirements
• Contribute to the overall architecture design and development
• Oversee the SDLC and enhance the development experience via guideline and tools
• Participate in team performance management and ensure the delivery will be on-time and able to meet the agreed standards
• Involve in team expansion and hiring processes

skills & experiences required.

• Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on backend design and development experience with PHP is a must
• Solid experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, AJAX, MySQL etc.
• Prior experience in project management and vendor management
• Experience in mentoring/managing a small development team is preferred
• Detail-oriented & demonstrated the ability to analyse and elaborate on requirements
• Good at spoken and written Chinese is a must
