Working Location: DHL Central Asia Hub, Chek Lap Kok

Reporting to General Manager, Central Asia Hub, you will be responsible for all aspects of IT operations in Central Asia Hub.  

Responsibilities 

• Lead, manage and motivate a team of IT staff of the Hub Information Technology Department to deliver best in-class services of  IT infrastructure, Telecom, network, user end points support and business application support for the hub facility to achieve 100% uptime  Manage the 7x 24 IT support service for all the hub operation systems -  Auto-sort system, customs clearance system etc
• Ensure the required Hub computing facilities, hardware and software are developed and implemented according to the agreed time frame and budget 
• Work closely with hub operation stakeholder to identify user requirements & continuous improvement opportunities & to deliver solutions which align to the company strategy & direction 
• Work closely with external & internal IT resources on Global & Regional IT project rollout 
• Analyze, develops, implements, annual operating budget of the Hub IS Support Services for the hub operations 
• Work with Global/Regional/Local security team to comply with the DHPDH IT security policy, standards and procedures for the existing systems & any implementation of new platforms or software  
• Negotiates, establishes, monitors and revises formal Agreements, policies, procedures and service level standards for a wide variety of 3rd party IT service providers
• Coordinate Hub System Security Audits, follow up and to report breaches of security to the LISO 

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent    
• 7 - 10 years of experience in IT & business field with minimum 5 years in IT managing and directing IT operations, preferably in logistics industry 
• Experience in systems design and development from business requirements analysis through day-to-day management 
• Sound knowledge of new technology trends  Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, in both logical and interpersonal areas 
• Ability to work with executive management to develop effective integrated business and IT strategic and operational plans 
• Sound project Management skills with stakeholder management capabilities  
• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills and ability to work across the organization at both local and regional levels  
• Be a proactive change agent, with sound experience in implementing changes to drive for high performance and continuous improvement   
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
