Responsibilities:

• Database/Datawarehouse administration, including performance monitoring & tuning, implementation of changes and application of new patches & versions when required
• Database/Datawarehouse system maintenance including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, disaster recovery planning & execution, providing end-to-end technical support, etc
• Create Database/Datawarehouse maintenance policies/procedures, introduce/deploy maintenance tools
• Work with IT security team to follow information security policies and provide technical support on information security
• Work with IT infrastructure team to apply/manage server resources, support infrastructure migration/upgrade, etc
  
• Research and introduce new techniques in database/big data area

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years’ database specialist/DBA experience in Oracle database
• Good skills in SQL, PL/SQL, Linux platform, Shell Script
• Hands-on experience in Oracle Database/MySQL Database/MS SQL Database
• Hands-on experience in disaster recovery and database backup procedures
• Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity
• Experience in Big Data, Docker/Kubernetes would be an advantage
• Eager to learn new techniques and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as senior position
