Responsibilities
- Perform Server and Oracle database administration (DBA) including performance monitoring & tuning, implementation of changes and application of new patches & versions when required;
- Carry out system maintenance including installation, troubleshooting, disaster recovery planning & execution, providing end-to-end technical support;
- Plan, design and lead the implementation large scale data platform
- Working closely with various business stakeholders to identify, evaluate and adoption of new data management technologies (RDBMS, Hadoop, NoSQL, data integration, visualization) to keep up evolving business needs.

Requirement
Academic Qualification: Bachelor Degree holder or above
Field of Study: Computer Engineering, Computer Science or IT related disciplines
Year of Experience: 
- Hands-on experience in Oracle Database / MS SQL Database / MySQL Server;
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL;
- Sound knowledge in Windows, Linux platform, Shell Script compiling and ODA;
- Hands-on experience in disaster recovery and database backup procedures;
- Knowledge of various programming languages, such as Python, SQL and Java;
- Experience in big data technologies, e.g. Spark, Hadoop, Flink and Kafka;
- Knowledge in data analytics tools, data mining and machine learning a definitively advantage;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Good command of both written and spoken Chinese & English.

Working Location: HK Science Park, Shatin (Occasional Travel is required)
