Cognizant is rapidly growing its Analytics Line within AI&A (AI and Analytics) practice and seeking Azure SQL Database DBA Senior, to serve one of his clients.

This specific role is a Azure SQL Database DBA Senior to troubleshoot performance issues in the applications, and provide recommendation to remediate these issues

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit the existing code and provide optimization recommendation
• Conduct SQL Script, Store Procedure code review
• Troubleshoot, finetune for performance, existing SQL Script, Store Procedure
• Follow-up implementation of proposed performance tuning recommendation
• Support the team with new deployment to ensure the performance of the overall system

Role Requirements: 

• Proven SQL Server Database or Azure SQL Database experiences
• Proven experience troubleshooting SQL scripts
• Provide recommendations to improve the database performance
• Create proper technical documentation in the work assignment
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
