Responsibilities

• Provide support in maintenance and administration of the IT infrastructure and its services including server, storages, system monitoring services, Azure cloud services, O365; and to support the implementation of new IT infrastructures.
• Provide server and storages hardware and software installation and upgrade.
• Co-ordinate with vendors to deliver various IT projects.
• Implement tools for system health monitoring and reporting.
• Monitor the performance of the infrastructure and carry out tuning exercises as appropriate to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist the team/external suppliers to ensure appropriate fixes are applied to all identified problems.
• Support of infrastructure components in line with agreed service level agreements.
• Constantly look for opportunities to improve the level of support via automation, lower cost, and higher efficiencies solution.
• Require out of office hours support with compensation leaves when necessary.

Qualifications, Training and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline preferred.
• 3+ year relevant working experience in IT infrastructure and system administration.
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Windows.
• Hands-on experience in managing VMware and Citrix environments.
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud or O365 is an added advantage.
• Knowledge on Cisco router, switches, firewall, VPN support and is an added advantage
• Knowledge or experience in IT security is an advantage.
• Willing to work under pressure.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication skills.
• Result oriented as well as a team player.
• Good interpersonal skills to interact with team members & business users.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly.
• Holder of IT certificates including MCSE/MCITP/CCNA/CCNP is an advantage.
• Microsoft Azure certification is an added advantage
• Good command of spoken and written English & Chinese
