Position:  Assistant Manager / System Analyst

Purpose: 

• To provide a full range of information technology services and IT digital solutions required by the Company.
• Structure IT related activities and interactions of IT technical team with internal users and external stakeholders following the Company Service Management framework and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (“ITIL”) process.

Core Responsibilities: 

• Communicate with different product owners and business users to collect user requirements for new project initiatives implementation, plan and conduct UAT, arrange training for frontline, and support daily operations and enquiries.
• Provide support on procedural design, user requirements, and functional requirement for system enhancements related to life insurance products.
• Design, provide estimation, implement and support in the new product design/campaign, operational design and system applicability.
• Able to work with external vendors effectively to implement and maintain various IT solutions and projects for business operation.
• Prepares documentation including business specification, technical specification, quality assurance process and user manual. Perform analysis and work out project prioritization which agree with business and IT team.
• Prepare SIT / UAT test plan and manage test execution and documentation to ensure completeness and traceability.
• Handle system incidents and troubleshoot system errors.
• Coordinate with IT and user team on system deployment arrangement.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• University graduate in any computer related discipline\
• Over 6 years’ relevant experience in system development and project management
• In-depth knowledge in System Development Life Cycle and project management methodology
• Experience in life insurance
• Experience with user coordination and vendor management
• Exposure in Mobile and/or Web-based systems related applications
• Solid working experience of RESTful API design and implementation
• Hands on coding experience in JEE application development
• Hands on coding experience in MS .NET application development, preferably with practical experience in or C#.NET application with MS SQL Server
• Knowledge in common Life administration system
• Knowledge and experience in DevOps development with containers is an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in Agile Software Development approach and Project Management methodologies such as PRINCE or PMP is an advantage
• Good problem-solving skill, able to pick up new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese/Putonghua
