Purpose of the Position

• Manage large scale of IT Projects/Program and Business Analyst team.  Escalation contact and point of contact from senior business management of the overall project health /status and Vendor management.
• Responsible for team resource allocation; work prioritization and assignment
• Project oversight and iteration features approver.
• Verify and maintain project status in plan view and supervise overall project progress Oversight the overall status of those IT projects from requirement definition to implementation ensuring alignment to corporate strategy, business requirements and benefits, are met and to ensure each of the project get delivered smoothly on time, within budget and of highest quality

Job Responsibilities

• Manage large scale of IT Projects/Program from requirement definition to implementation ensuring alignment to corporate strategy, business requirements and benefits, are met and to ensure each of the project get delivered smoothly on time, within budget and of highest quality;
• Create project plans and other required documents such as Business requirements Documents(BRDs) for project management through internal standard tools and templates, with the commitment and buy in from all team members;
• Produce effective and regular project status reports to keep management and stakeholders apprised of updated project status, major issues, change requests and milestone achievements or misses. Provide regular project progress reports to Steering Committee;
• Ensure that issues/problems are managed, and escalated promptly and efficiently in a concise and actionable manner to Head of IT or Senior business stakeholders;
• Link with Asset Class Business Management and Technical Specialists in order to write documents that can then be signed off and used as the basis to construct technical documents used to support the necessary technology changes;
• Lead and chair regular project steering committee meetings and follow up with project team members as required to focus on business and operational issues or technical issues, documenting, assigning and monitoring all project issues to ensure clearance with minimal impact to overall project progress or milestones achievements;
• Drive and define the standard for developments and project management;
• Responsible for define the framework, process/guidelines of project management, quality assurance framework and project governance;
• Responsible in IT project budgeting and forecast; liaise with the need or development plans  from business sponsors/stakeholders;
• Maintain good relationship between the senior business stakeholders/management  at C or MD level, managing appropriate business expectations and negotiating compromise where appropriate;
• Escalation contact and point of contact from senior business management of the overall project health /status and Vendor management;
• Coordinate effectively with both internal and external parties or vendor to ensure clear commitment on deliverables, dates and keep track of the project financials;
• Adopt standards, best practices, principles, tools for quality, cost and productivity improvement;
• Oversight QA team in generation of QA report and approval;
• Develop a good level of understanding of the appropriate business, especially on Retails stock and futures front office trading or others oversea market stock/futures trading systems of the company and their associated IT project management requirements;
• Challenge and question required business flows where necessary in order to define an optimal and efficient business process and technical solution;
• Perform such other duties as shall from time to time be directed by the superiors.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree holder of Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration relevant disciplines;
• With minimum 15 – 20 years of PM and BA working experience in financial industries
• Excellent domain knowledge, such as Equity Derivatives and OTC products (including options, warrants, futures; structured products including ELN, accumulator/ decumulator and range accruals), trade capture, risk reporting, real time pricing infrastructure, structure product life cycling management (corporate actions, early exercise, barrier observation, coupon payment, fixing);
• Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English.  Conversational level of Putonghua is required;
• Solid project management skills in initiation, analysis, design, test (e.g. UAT), transition and production deployment. PMP or Prince2 certification. ;
• Good understanding of IT systems and functions in general, Exposure to technologies ;
• Prior experience of working on Retails Front office Trading System with good knowledge on the Stock, Futures, Options trading for Equities or internet stock trading projects or multi-market trading (e.g. US stock trading) is a benefit;
• Proven track record in delivering large scope development and migration projects and good experience in delivering securities/trading functionalities;
• Understanding of the whole Front to Back Trading Cycle (especially for stock trading) ;
• Experience in liaising with all relevant parties in IT and working with senior business stakeholders;
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
