As an IT Application client support Specialist, you are an IT professional who works alongside software developers, system operators, and other production IT professionals with servicing support for clients and front office users. The post demands someone with the appropriate hard and soft skills to break down barriers between software development, QA, testing, and IT operations teams in order to foster a collaborative, holistic environment.

Objectives of this Role
  • User Support and Troubleshooting on System or Application Error for a new or existing system and developing software updates and ‘fixes’.
  • Work with the Hong Kong and US teams to monitor production trading systems across the Asia-Pacific region and the open of European markets
  • Assist in the system testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Setting up new/existing system environments.
Job Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for:
  • Deploying products updates and fixes.
  • Providing Level 2 and 3 technical and functional support of the production and non-production environments, monitoring, incident resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Developing software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
  • Investigating and resolving technical issues.
  • Building tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
  • Designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Job Requirements

To thrive and be successful in this role, you must have / be:
  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
  • Experience as an IT Application Support or similar software engineering role.
  • Equipped with strong troubleshooting skills and high urgency to ensure our critical systems operate at the highest level
  • Working knowledge of task automation skill
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills along with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, in English is required as this role requires working closely with Front Office users and IT teams globally
  • Passionate in leveraging technical know-how to detect and resolve problems early to minimize disruption to our business
