My client is a leading sustainability analytic platform, providing assessment and program management to improve organisational performance, minimising business risk. With over 20+ offices and 500+ employees globally, my client is continuously growing with new implementation of data-driven applications. My client is currently looking for a IT Associate Director / Technology Manager to manage the IT team with over 15 headcounts.

Responsibilities: 

• Managing the Information Technology team including software developers, testing/QA, DevOps, etc.
• Working with a variety of technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, SQL and noSQL databases, mobile development, cloud-based infrastructure, etc.
• Work closely with different internal parties and stakeholders, not limited to product managers, designers, to understand the most desired application capabilities and testing scenarios, and implement the best application possible
• Seeking out proactively seek and completing features per defined schedules
• Leading the agile teams to deliver different web/mobile solutions
• Managing the complete SDLC and establishing all-rounded metrics and management models that help continuous improvement 
• Providing constructive code reviews of pull requests
• Leading teams in project delivery and provide guidance
• Providing guidance and mentorship to team-members to enhance the high performance culture

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of software development experience at startup or established high-tech software company
• At least 5 years of experience managing IT software development teams
• Developing high-quality, high-performance and scalable web applications
• Solid expertise with SQL across a variety of Database technologies
• Practical knowledge with Java, Ruby and Git
• Good understanding on UX/UI concepts and interface usability
• Proven track record of leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Great team player, self- motivated, independent, and strong sense of responsibility
• Strong written English and communication skills
• Solid experience in designing and working with data driven applications, data visualizations tools with best practices
• Great technical expertise and understanding of major software concepts, engineering background a plus
• Knowledge of social sustainability and CSR is a plus
