Senior Business Analyst (Global Bank)

The Position:

Involved in developing and improving our existing Regional Regulatory Application covering lifecycles from design and development, through implementation, documentation, and maintenance. 

System Enhancement:

• Design and develop robust, performant software components to support the regulatory reporting platform
• Perform and support system testing (e.g. SIT & UAT)
• Participate in code review & improvements, testing, and support on new implementations
• Write and review documentation (e.g. technical & function spec, user guide)
• Perform process automation, data extraction, and analysis for regulatory reporting

Production Support

• Provide assistance and Level 3 Support to end-user and Production Support Team for investigation and resolution of production incidents and operation issues.
• Communicate closely with different Teams like - IT, Operations and Front Office to resolve the incident in a timely manner
• Identify the root cause of the incident by applying sound error tracing technics

Assistance to Project Management

• Ensure regular and efficient communication between the Project Team and among stakeholders
• Maintain necessary documentation following standard projects governance
• The web-based user interface on both Linux and Windows-based applications

Our Requirements:

• Min 2 years of experience in the Banking or Finance Industry
• Experience in Finance or Risk Area is highly preferred
• Solid experience in  Core Java/C#, solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Willingness to become proficient and develop in Python if not already a primary language)
• Proven experience in systems or data-warehouse development projects
• Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and enterprise architectures.
• Good understanding of database design, SQL/ TSQL, data structure & data modeling
• Oracle Database technology is highly preferred
• Familiarity with modern web technologies
• Experience in reporting platforms such as PowerBI, Crystal reports, Business Objects 
• Good understanding of Agile development and testing frameworks
• Solid experience in Git, JIRA, Kubernetes, Docker, Sonar, and Jenkins is a significant plus.
• Strong practical performance tuning experience on large-scale financial systems.
• Good experience in requirement gathering and analysis
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good command of spoken and written English
