Senior Accountant

As the Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in the accounting organization.  You will help build a best in class, scalable finance function to support the rapid growth of the business. 

Key areas of focus will include financial control, analysis and monthly close processes in SAP.

The ideal candidate must be a quick learner and possess strong business acumen. Should have substantial exposure to financial reporting and monthly closing processes. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.  

Responsibilities

•      Complete full set of accounts for Hong Kong entity
•      Perform weekly and monthly analysis
•      Budget and forecast  
•      Implement financial control and improve the control activities for our internal processes
•      AR and AP control
•      Perform AP transactions.
•      Support supply chain related financial activities, including cost accounting and inventory
•      Work closely with team members to assist with month-end close
•      Account reconciliations including, inventory, fixed asset, pre-paid and expense accruals
•      Participate in projects to improve process efficiency and performance
•      Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with IFRS/HKFRS and our requirements. Handle annual audit and review.
•      Tasks assigned by supervisor
•      Ad-hoc tasks
•      Candidate with lesser experience can be considered as accountant. 

Qualifications

•      8+ years of professional accounting experience
•      SAP experience is a must
•      Full-set closing experience
•      Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
•      Advance excel and business analytic skills
•      MNC experience is preferred. Knowledge and experience in US GAAP is an advantage. 
•      Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced, and high-growth environment
•      Positive attitude, detail-oriented and highly organized
