Job Description:

Reporting to Group CFO and Executive Directors, you will lead a team to oversee finance function of the regional business covering financial reporting, management reporting, annual audit, treasury, taxation, inventory planning, compliance etc. Also, you will be responsible for operational efficiency projects and new business valuations for business sustainable development.

 Responsibilities: 

• Manage HK finance team to perform all aspects of finance and accounting functions in the group, including internal and financial control, tax, audit, treasury, financial and management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in Hong Kong and the Mainland China;
• Review and re-engineer the business processes of different functional departments to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, internal control, risk management and compliance with laws and regulations;
• Highlight and investigate significant issues of operating units, make recommendations on corrective measures;
• Liaise with business units and senior management to provide sound advice on technical accounting and Group policy requirements;
• Enforce internal control system to ensure that the assets, revenues and costs are under effective control;
• Lead SAP utilization improvement project and another IT implementation projects;
• Provide management analysis to align with business objectives;
• Conduct and manage due diligence review in respect of acquisitions;
• Handle ad hoc assignment and projects as required.

• Bachelor degree holder in Accountancy, Finance or related disciplines with professional qualification in HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent;
• Minimum 8 years of relevant finance or accounting experiences at supervisory levels or above, preferably in retail/manufacturing in the Mainland China and with audit experience;
• Strong business sense, proven management, analytical, detail-minded, interpersonal and leadership skills;
• Be resilient and able to cope with high work pressure;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate with all departments in an organization;
• Excellent verbal and written skills in Chinese and English.  Native Mandarin Speaker is a plus;
• Proficiency in SAP, Word, Excel & Power-point. Knowledge in Vlookup and Pivot Table is an advantage; and familiar with SAP environment as an advantage;
• Business travel as required;
• Immediate availability is preferred.
