Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to oversee all aspects of Finance & Accounting functions of the Group and its respective business units
- Responsible for financial planning and management, cash flow management, tax planning and budgeting
- Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate management reports, coordinating with the finance head of all business units for consolidation and reporting to the Group
- Assist the Company to achieve the financial targets by recommending and developing short, medium and long-term financial plans and projections
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, ie Banks, Auditors, Valuators
- Act as business partner to all business units and proactively offer both support and advice to Business Leaders and Core Teams, to ensure the best outcomes
- Manage processes for financial forecasting and budgeting. Monitor capital expenditures, revenues, cost management and cash flow of the Group and its subsidiaries.
- Take an advisory role and provide assessments on the financial impact of investments, alliances with strategic partners, mergers and acquisitions
- Provide financial insight for new initiatives/ investments with feasibility study and financial models
- Facilitate the sourcing of funds for capital investment where necessary
- Design and implement appropriate internal control systems for the Group and its subsidiaries
- Prepare ad-hoc projects and reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
- Must have professional accountancy qualification
- Proven record and relevant experience as company secretaries of Hong Kong Listed companies
- At least 15 years of relevant in a range of financial spectrum of experience
- Familiar with HK and PRC accounting standard and tax legislation
- Strong leader with solid interpersonal skills
- Composed, mature and having the stature to influence the organization
- Strong communicator to navigate in a sizeable and complex organisation
- Collaborative with a resilient attitude and demonstrates agility in changing situations
- Strong customer orientation with the ability to influence at all levels
