Job Description
THE COMPANY :
- French multinational company
- Brand owner, manufacturer and marketer : garment trims
- Hong Kong office : trading, function as regional office of Asia Pacific
- Main market : global garment manufacturers & fashion brands
- We are looking for ACCOUNTANT / SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Work in Accounting Team of 10-12 members
- Perform general day-to-day accounting operations and month-end closing
- Liaise closely with locations on resolving financial and accounting issues
- Actively involved in monthly HFM reporting, semi-annual consolidation and tax package preparation
- Work closely with HQ consolidation team on HFM changes / flows
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports. Identify variances and provide explanations to management
- Participate in budgeting or forecasting processes
- Review balance sheet schedules and ensure the sub-ledger accounts and control accounts are balanced
- Maintain commission calculation module and calculate monthly commission payment
- Handle taxation, auditing and company secretarial matters in accordance with local statutory requirements
- Promote standardization of the group accounting and financial policies / procedures
- Degree holder in Accounting or related discipline
- 5 years or above accounting experience in sizable companies preferably MNC
- HFM knowledge is an advantage
- Excellent skills in MS Excel and financial applications
- Proficient of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
- 5 days work (Mon to Fri 9:00am-5:30pm)
- 13 months salary + performance bonus
- Annual leave : 12 days
