The main expected objectives are:

1. Being the regional controller to support local teams (Givenchy and Kenzo) and local controllers in SE Asia and Korea to handle budget preparation and presentation, and different reporting requested by headquarters.  Support regional management and headquarters to review local figures and budget for a better understanding of local markets’ business performance.
2. Responsible for all areas of planning and control for export businesses for Givenchy and Kenzo in Asia Pacific, to prepare accurate and timely financial information and support management to plan and control the businesses in the region.
3. Managing structure cost allocation and back-office costs in the regional office in Hong Kong and monitoring among different business units in this region.
4. Working as a team with other finance team members in Hong Kong, to support the team to handle different processes and projects assigned.

The controller will report to the Regional Finance Controlling Director based in Hong Kong.  He/she will be involved in different businesses in the region. He/she has to bring a real added value in the controlling process and have a business approach.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Main duties include reporting, budgeting and forecasting, monthly/yearly closing, sales analysis and training export / domestic markets for Asia sales team to use IT (Cognos Powerplay /SAP) and budget tools for the brands and sales channels assigned to this role (please refer to the section of “Purpose of the Job”).

• The controller will provide accurate and timely periodic reporting, analysis and planning for all different sales channels and customers in this region.

• Support Regional Finance Controlling Director and different business units to improve finance related processes and internal controls in local markets and the region.

• He/she will also have the opportunity to be involved in ad hoc projects and analysis work as required by the business.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• The successful candidates need to be fluent in English with a degree in finance/controlling and a 6 year-experience in a financial controller or business analyst position.

• Have to be very hands-on to input and handle worksheets or system input for budget, attentive to details, positive attitude to deal with ambiguity.

• The controller has to adopt a voluntarist and solving problem approach and be willing to take initiative.

• Excellent Excel skills is requested experience with SAP, Cognos Powerplay will also be useful.
