One of the sizable corporations with strong presence aross APAC regions is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to be responsible for their accounting operations, as well as driving finance process transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with offshore shared services team to be responsible for overall daily accounting operations which include financial reporting, consolidations, taxation, audit etc.
• Review and enhance the process on the preparation of monthly operating statements to speed up the completion time enabling management to have timely reaction to our business needs
• Ensure adherence of all accounting standards/practices, statutory requirements, company guidelines, policy and procedures and corporate policies
• Review the internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure proper authorization for business activities
• Coordinate with the IT Department for development and enhancement of financial systems and procedures to improve operational efficiency in the accounting area
• Liaise with external and internal auditors and Group Taxation Department in both HK and China
• Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the Head of Finance

Requirements:

• University graduate with professional accounting qualification
• At least 10 years relevant experience, in which 3 years at managerial level; experience in sizable corporations; exposure in Big-4 audit firm is highly preferred
• Solid track record in driving process streamlining& automation, system implementation etc.
• Strong technical knowledge in Hong Kong & PRC accounting standards and taxation regulations
• Proficiency in MS office application (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Words) and computerized accounting system (SAP)
• Excellent command of English & Chinese including Mandarin
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with people at all levels including Senior Management
• Equipped with strong analytical skill, problem solving ability, independent thinking, critical & business mindset, and passion to drive efficiency
