Job Description

Job Summary

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Internat Audit Department, the job holder is responsible to perform financial, operational, compliance & special audits for business units in Hong Kong and PRC.  The successful applicant is able to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the internal control systems and deliver quality internal audit reports for business performance and corporate governance; ensure the operations of business units in compliance with the Company's objectives, policies,  strategies and legal requirements.

Key Job Responsibilities:
•    Assists the Deputy Director to manage the Company’s business risks and controls to perform risk assessment of assigned functions and processes within the required timeframe
•    Conducts interviews with all levels of personnel, from staff to executive management to evaluate processes and organizational systems independently
•    Works with the Deputy Director to plan and establish risk-based audit programs on the Company's major processes, functions and on any emerging risks
•    Collaborates with the external auditors and Deputy Director to determine the scope of the audit or review engagements; deliver appraisal of policies and procedures to determine the suitability of internal control designs
•    Responsible for documenting audit procedures following the Company’s Internal Audit Approach and Methodology
•    Assists to plan audit engagements, including financial, operational, compliance and special audits;  perform walkthrough of processes & controls and execute audit testing to identify issues and report the risk dimensions
•    Responsible for maintaining electronic work papers, including using data analytics, and evidence to support findings and recommendations
•    Prepares quality Internal Audit Reports with succinct and practical suggestions which reflects the context in which the business operates and perform necessary communication to all levels of management
•    Assists the Deputy Director to follow up audits and perform appropriate validation of management’s implementation to ensure risk mitigation in place

Who you are:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines
•    At least 5 years of experience in external audit Big 4 with good track record of expereince in internal audit from listed conglomerates, preferably in property/real estate industry
•    Advanced knowledge of internal controls across various business cycles 
•    Member of HKICPA/ACCA/ICAEW/AICPA/CGA or equivalent professional accounting designation
•    Holder of CIA/CFA/CISA certification is preferred
•    Excellent command in both verbal and written English and Chinese, fluent in Mandarin is preferable
•    Advanced in Microsoft Office, SharePoint and knowledge on data analytics
•    Willing to travel
