Job Description

Aim Capital Consortium Limited (http://aimgroup.asia/) is an asset management company licensed with the SFC to carry out Type 4 and 9 regulated activities. We are now looking for candidates who have interest in asset management industry, and are keen to expand their knowledge and experiences by working with growing companies.

 Selected candidates will:

  • be given industry exposure, and learn about fund operations and regulatory requirements;
  • gain experiences in asset management industry;
  • have access to professional and industrial seminars and events as a representative of the company; and
  • receive training and gain knowledge on regulatory and compliance matters relating to asset management industry. 
  • be given opportunities to be qualified as SFC licensee. 
  • be given exposures to and experiences that can help getting professional qualifications like HKSI, CAIA, CFA, CPA, etc.

Job requirements:

  • 0-3 years of related working experience is preferred, fresh graduates are also welcome;
  • Work experiences of 1 plus years in audit firms (especially 2nd tier CPA firms), regulatory consulting firms, and/or boutique SFC licensed fund managers will be a plus but not necessary;
  • Able to take initiative and be accountable for own work and responsibilities;
  • Have positive attitude towards client services, continuous learning and improvement, and importance of responsiveness;
  • Confident in spoken and written presentation in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) ;
  • Candidates with experiences and knowledge in IT, cryptocurrencies and NFT will be given preferential considerations;
  • May be seconded to other offices of the group, and willing to travel to China or overseas; 
  • Candidates with experiences in social media marketing, design and IT will be given preferential considerations; and
  • Bachelor degree in related fields of Business, Accountancy, Law, Finance etc. Candidate with HKICPA, CFA, CAIA or HKSI practising qualifications will be an advantage.

Job duties:

  • Providing regulatory and compliance support;
  • Providing business development support, including drafting of contracts, term sheets and sales pitches, etc.;
  • Preparing accounting records, FRR computations, expense claims and invoicing;
  • Providing operational support to fund managers;
  • General administrative support;
  • Willing to perform any ad-hoc task as assigned no matter how basic or complex; and
  • Performing independent research into assigned areas.

Job format:

  • Full Time, 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday;
  • Bank holidays off; and
  • Statutory Employment Compensation Insurance coverage and MPF.
