Job Overview

• Assist Senior Manager/Manager in performing group consolidation and daily accounting and financial operations

Responsibilities

• Prepare month end closing, financial reporting and consolidation for the group
• Prepare reconciliation, breakdowns and analysis for month-end closing
• Deliver the statutory financial statements and tax documents of subsidiaries
• Liaise with auditors and other external parties (e.g. JV partners) for all aspects of accounting, audit, tax and compliance
• Standardize the financial reports and assist in carrying out process reengineering to improve efficiencies
• Participate in system implementation/enhancement related to Finance to ensure that the system setting and reporting align with the accounting requirement
• Handle ad-hoc assignments/ projects as required

Requirements

• University graduate with HKICPA or equivalent professional qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in handling and/or reviewing consolidation process, plus financial reporting gained from big 4 accounting firms and/or sizable multi-national corporations (Exposure in property industry is highly preferred)
• Good understanding of HKFRS and extensive experience in consolidation
• Attention to details and accuracy, work independently under minimal guidance, self-motivated, capable to handle tight timeline
• Ability to handle multi-tasks and respond effectively to ad-hoc requests
• High competence in written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Well versed in MS Office and experience in using SAP (especially BPC module) is an advantage
