• Responsible for all aspects of financial activities for Hong Kong office
• Contribute to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate
• Prepare forecasting and budgeting reports for management review and discussion
• Provide directions to management on financial planning, projections and strategy for the profitable long-term growth of the business
• Review project budgets and provide support to business and project leads on scopes, profitability, utilization and all other client finance activities with a goal to deliver projects on budget and profitable
• Ensure company’s financial practices are in line in statutory regulations and legislation
• Prepare weekly, monthly and annual financial and statutory reports to support relevant business entities
• Overview and manage cash flow, accounts and financial transactions
• Identify potential problems/risks in existing environments and provide solutions before they manifest themselves in material financial results
• Review, update and implement financial policies and procedures if required
• Monitor day-to-day financial operations including tracking financial data, invoicing, payroll etc
• Lead and develop Finance Team with clear directions, feedback and appropriate training and career development
• Maintain good relationships with service providers including bank institutions, company secretaries, auditors and lawyers
• Review client and vendor contracts and negotiate on points of law
• Work closely with Human Resources on manpower planning and budgeting
• Work collaborately with Procurement Team to ensure that the company's cash is used wisely on the alignment with finance goals/objectives
• As a key driver and work closely with Chief Information Officer on improvement of ERP system and other ad hoc business financial related projects

What you should bring with you …

• Bachelor degree in Finance Analytics, Accounting or related field
• MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience in Financial Management with demonstrating level of responsibilities and progression
• In depth understanding of operations of finance function in an agency within Events & Exhibition, Creative & Digital space preferably
• Commercial and business acumen, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
• Strong consulting and advisory skills, ability to confidently presenting to senior management and facilitating discussion in a workshop environment
• Excellent communicator with solid interpersonal skills, able to communicate across all levels of the organisation
• Possess good judgement and foresight to ensure accurate data analysis
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance
• Excellent leadership skills, be able to provide appropriate guidance and mentorship to team members
• Effective time management skills and flexibility to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Ability to handle competing priorities in a dynamic business environment
• Proficiency in accounting software & MS office
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chines
