Job Description
TMF Group in Hong Kong is currently looking for a Fund Accountant - Junior to join its Fund Services Team. This role will encompass all facets of the calculation of net asset values on a variety of funds.
Responsibilities
1. To prepare accounting & analysis:
- Maintain and control the general ledger and various sub-ledgers
- Process standard and complex bookkeeping entries
- Prepare investor allocations, capital call / distribution notices
- Prepare full NAV reporting pack including management accounts, supporting schedules
- Prepare financial statements, footnotes and partner capital statements
- Involved within a full scope of transaction activities including full cycle accounting
- Prepare financial data analysis
3. Participate in the implementation of fund structures onto the accounting system
4. Operate as a contact point for clients; able to respond to and resolve queries or escalate where necessary
5. Act as a liaison with various internal /external parties – i.e. auditors, legal counsel, Investment Management companies
6. Process wire transfer payments on behalf of clients
7. Ad hoc duties as and when required
Requirements
- Degree holder with recognized accounting qualification or business related disciplines
- Pursuing Professional qualifications in CA or CPA
- Preferable of 1-2 years’ relevant experience gained from sizable CPA firm or multinational company
- Fresh graduate are welcomed to apply
- Knowledgeable about private equity fund / real estate fund
- Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
