The opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Operations Director to join our Asia-Pacific Professional Practice Director (PPD) team, implementing and driving Assurance-wide initiatives to support effective strategy execution and high performing support functions across the team.
Your key responsibilities
- Help implement Global and Area Assurance initiatives
- Assist Area Professional Practice Director (PPD) to define scope of Assurance programs
- Assist in coordinating the development of business strategy and business plans for the Partner group
- Communicate with Regions, problem solve issues, Analyse and monitor progress of projects
- Work with Area PPD to deliver priority initiatives for the Professional Practice Group function
- Develop and maintain relationships with Professional Practice Directors and their teams across the Regions and Markets
- Help to ensure Area/Region compliance responsibilities are met under our Global policy
- Run Area PPD meetings and assist in the development of agendas and content for other key meetings
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have:
- 8-10 years experience in external Audit, ideally in a professional services environment
- Experience working with regulators and managing audit inspections
- CA qualified or similar
- Experience building strong relationships and influencing senior stakeholders
- Confident with the ability to drive accountability amongst senior stakeholders
- Track record of developing and delivering initiatives
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Self – starter and project management skills
- Quick reasoning skills
- Good communications skills (verbally and written)
