Job Description

Responsibilities:

manage university career initiatives independently, with priority in:
- coordinating career education initiatives and conducting training/ career advisory sessions to students on diversified areas including industry-specific insights;
- administer survey exercises on graduates, students, employers and others;
- soliciting employment opportunities for students and implementing local, overseas and mainland internship programmes;
organise mentorship programme;
assist in organising University-wide career events; and
foster effective collaboration with employers, professional bodies, academic departments and other stakeholders.

Applicants should:

possess a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ or above relevant working experience at executive level, preferably in career services, human resources, student programme management in tertiary institutions;
be multi-tasking and attentive to details;
possess good communication, interpersonal and project management skills;
have a strong passion in student development with positive work attitudes; and
have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.

Applicants with work experience in both commercial and the higher education sector will be an advantage.Occasional offshore work travel maybe required. Candidates with less relevant experience will be considered as Careers Officer.
