Transformation
Hang Seng’s Transformation Services is a team of professionals driving the Bank’s strategic priorities and managing transformation initiatives across various lines of business and functions for our Hong Kong, China, Singapore and Macau business.
As the Bank’s transformation specialist, the key focuses of the team are: (1) inspiring transformation strategy for entity-level business and operating model to shape the future of the bank; (2) designing the right path to foster strategic transformation; and (3) managing flagship and large scale programmes/ projects to put critical transformation initiatives into effect.
The team proactively drives the innovative culture across the Bank and connect the Bank to the dynamic external Fintech world to continue push the innovation frontier to stay competitive. Industry best practices such as design led thinking and agile are adopted in our transformation process to deliver best in class and customer centric solution in a timely manner.
Should you join our Transformation Services, you will be trained to providing professional consultancy services to the Bank’s management for their transformation needs, partnering with stakeholders to design sound solutions to resolve problems, and managing complex projects to implement transformation solutions. You will communicate effectively with businesses/ functions across the bank, and connect front-office parties with various functions such as our technology and operations teams.
We are currently seeking high caliber professionals to join our department as Assistant Project Manager.
Principal responsibilities
- Provide project management, workflow design and consultancy services to the banking business or operations to drive improvement in systems, products, service, process efficiency and control
- Work closely with parties including business users, operations, IT and relevant parties to ensure effective project implementation
- University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications
- Minimum of two years solid banking experience in project management, system implementation or business transformation preferred
- Knowledge in global markets/treasury, credit risk, banking business and operations will be an advantage
- Strong self-motivation and creativity, with excellent project management, communication and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
