Exciting new role for you

Responsible for implementing and maintaining anti-money laundering procedures and policies and ensuring that the company adheres to strict compliance procedures and regulatory guidelines. Managing a small team, experience liaising with regulators is important for the role. This position reports directly to the Company Director and Group Risk and Compliance Director. Working with other internal compliance departments globally. Directing internal investigations and acting MLRO. Ensuring all HK entities and subsidiaries adhere to strict TCSP guidelines, experience with this would be of a definite advantage. Assisting with the implementation of FATCA and CRS procedures and co-ordinating with other Group offices. Provide AML training to all staff and supervising relevant staff on due diligence procedures. Monitoring and enhancing AML policies & procedures. Drafting due diligence reports on new and existing clients in accordance with AML procedures. Investigating the background of new clients and drafting risk reviews through Worldcheck and internet searches. Reviewing payment instructions and incoming credit advices to identify potential suspicious transactions in line with AML procedures. Develop and promote compliance processes and guidelines as per relevant regional regulations and group policy.

Requirements

• Relevant degree from an accredited University. +8 year of experience in Financial Services and financial crime compliance (FCC).
• ACAMS, CPA/legal qualifications preferred.
• Good knowledge of anti-money laundering and Compliance regulations within the banking/financial services industry.
• TCSP industry experience preferred. Experience with AML/ CTF
• Proven track record of complex investigation, problem solving and decision-making ability.
• Strong analytical skills and an effective leader and team player.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Stakeholder management experience.
• Mandarin language skills an advantage.
