Your role

• Formulate proactive acquisition and business development strategy to expand retail partnerships, customer base and increase product acceptance
• Total solution selling approach to penetrate the market, drive negotiations and influence new & existing key partners for success
• Build rapport with retailers, closed-looped partners through formal and informal settings
• Achieve challenging business targets to increase the business revenue and transaction volume
• Derive business opportunities through data analytics for competitive performance and insights to grow
• Facilitate end-to-end customer onboarding process, from engagement to alignment with internal parties
• Liaise with internal teams on customer acquisition and operation enquiries and issues
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management

To succeed in this role

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, IT or related discipline, with at least 5 years’ experience in business development, account management or customer acquisition
• Compelling business relations network from both corporate and retail environment
• Strong commercial acumen and data-analytics driven with obsessions for solutions development
• Highly collaborative and inclusive working style; result-oriented and willing to work closely and effectively with internal and external teams
• Experience from FI, payment industry or start-up is a plus
• Ability to understand and execute on key operational aspects and attentive to details
• Proactive, independent, self-motivated with a growth mindset for merchant success
• Superior and persuasive written and verbal presentation and communication skills (English and Cantonese)
• Less experienced candidate will be considered as Assistant Manager
