Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technical Expert, the incumbent will assume the following:

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of the supervisory assessment methodology with focus on macroprudential surveillance, capital adequacy, resolution, systemic risk assessment, etc.
  • Provide technical support to various teams and divisions, like an in-house financial/risk consultant
  • Provide input and development of reports and presentations as directed by senior management
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management


Requirements

  • A strong academic background with a Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, statistics, economics, accounting, finance, insurance, risk management or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 3 years’ work experience with an ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and supervisory standards, industry practices and market (financial and insurance) dynamics will be preferred
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese


Appointment Terms
A competitive remuneration package commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications on a 2-year contract, with a prospect of conversion to permanent employment, will be offered.
