Job Description
Responsibilities
- Tracking economy, industry and company news and reading the impact on model portfolio
- Tracking financial and operational performance of sector and companies on a regular basis
- Ownership of key research activities, maintenance and analysis of databases on companies, industries and macro-economy of various geographies
- Understanding of model portfolios and analysis
- Update and maintain marketing presentation packs on key research ideas and themes
- Assist in drafting research reports and provide publication support
- Regularly interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and arrangements
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial concepts, macro-economic fundamentals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Good reading/writing/speaking skills in Mandarin and English
- Self-starter and ability to take execute tasks independently
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Innovative thinking and solution orientation
- Masters in Finance/ Economics/ Commerce or MBA / CPA – CFA Certification
- Prior equity research exposure will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, WIND is essential
- Knowledge of automation tools / VBA will be an added advantage
- High flexibility in working hours
