An international Financial Institution, based in Hong Kong, is looking for an investment operation manager to join them.

Job Description 


• Need to recommend operational process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of investment operations
• Responsible for management of trade services and operation including operational process, international process and associated IT enhancement
• Conduct all operation activities within the Risk & Compliance parameters as defined from time to time by the Bank
• Fulfilment of the competency requirement for carry out the relevant regulated activities as defined by SFC and HKMA
• Ensure internal control requirements of the business are adhered to in line with Group policies  

• Liaise and collaborate with business units to define, review and standardize the system workflow
• Provide daily support and assistant to business units including Capital Market, Sales and dealers
• Review and enhance existing operation procedures as well as develop procedures for new products and operations

Qualifications & Skills

• University Graduate in Business or related disciplines
• Over 8 years of relevant experience in securities, FX, wealth management and trade activities with excellent understanding of investment operations and transactional product
• Awareness of market developments and have a vision for where the market is going in the future  
• Self starter capable of taking ownership with minimal day to day supervision
• Stress resistant, ability to work under time pressure, team-player, proactive
• Effective and efficient people and communication skills to communicate with all level of staff
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem solving skills
