Job Description

Innovative Solutions Department (ISD) is a team of caliber who leverages the latest and advanced technology to deliver innovative and inspiring solutions to both AECOM and our clients in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific. To name a few of the technology, they are Building Information Modelling (BIM), Geographic Information System (GIS), Mobile Application, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Solution and Immersive Technology – Virtual Reality (VR) / Augmented Reality (AR), etc.

VDC Specialist who will take the role as below:

• Perform virtual design and construction (VDC) work including 4D simulation, construction sequence, 3D design with interior, exterior and photomontage render, video editing and post production
• Support BIM needs for both internal and external clients
• Support the development of VR and AR technologies, reality capture solutions (laser scanning, UAV’s, 360 cameras)
• Report directly to the supervisor on day-to-day operation of VDC work
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
• Produce and maintain the detailed and accurate BIM models for the purpose of design and construction co-ordination
• Monitor day-to-day the production of 3D models and ensure timely incorporation of new information and perform quality checking of the required deliverables for the 3D model and related manual

Minimum Requirements

• Higher Diploma/Degree in Architecture / Structural Engineering / Building Services Engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience in Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry
• 2+ years’ experience in BIM VDC production
• Candidates with arts and programing (Visual Studio, C+) experience preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in 3DSMax, Maya, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, LumenRT, After Effect, Premiere, Photoshop and other VDC related software
• Experience with VR and AR development or mobile app; experience with Unreal Engine, Unity is an advantage
• Good command of spoken Cantonese, Mandarin & English
