Our client is a major developer in Hong Kong. They are looking for a Building Surveyor to support their operation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible maintenance and repairs works for building fabrics and building surveying aspects, handling technical issues
• Assisting technical manager to oversee major projects and to ensure compliance with laws and regulation
• Prepare tender documents; analyse tender and recommend for acceptance of maintenance strategy; supervise in-house technicians; control workmanship and progress of works
• Carry out feasibility studies on improvement & upgrading of building and facilities in design, contract administration and project management
• Co-ordinate and monitor the project consultant to carry out major maintenance & renovation projects and the arrangement of site works, handling of tenant's complaints in repair, maintenance and upgrading of building fabric

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent professional qualifications
• 2+ years experience in building surveying
• Experience in maintenance of shopping mall/commercial/residential buildings is preferred
• Strong communication and presentations skills: ability to work with people at all levels
• More experience will be considered for the position of Building Surveyor; Less experience will be considered as Assistant Building Surveyor
• Fluent in spoken and written English & Chinese
• Good PC skills with hand-on experience in MS Words, Excel etc.
