Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager

Our client is a renowned listed property developer with multiple developments across Hong Kong, China and overseas. Due to their latest expansion program, they are seeking for a Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager to work on their residential / commercial projects in Hong Kong.

Main Responsibilities:

• Engage in projects from feasibility stage, project inception, execution to completion, CC, OP as well as providing advice to Sales Team
• Project planning, supervision and execution
• Manage project execution to ensure achievements on design and quality standard as planned
• Timely advise on possible need for change of approved design and direct consultants to issue variation instructions according to agreed design solutions
• Work together with other departments to ensure project costing and financing are well prepared based on project budget and cost plans
• Supervise team members to ensure delivery and achievement of project milestones
• Drive for effective teamwork amongst the project consultants and contractors in resolving schedule, potential conflicts and ensure a timely completion of project works
• Maintain and foster a positive relationship with relevant government authorities to ensure compliance and approval for all relevant development licenses.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Architecture, Building Surveying or other relevant disciplines
• Member of HKIA, RIBA, AIA or other equivalent qualifications
• Minimum 6 years of relevant project management experience, ideally with a strong experience gained from Hong Kong projects - candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Project Manager position
• Strong experience gained from property developer
• Prior experience of Hong Kong residential / commercial projects is essential
• Knowledgeable in local regulations and procedures of buildings, planning and land
• Strong planning, organizing and coordinating ability with good communications and problem solving skills
• Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills with strong market and business sense
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
