The Job:

• To assist in tendering documents administration, tender review, material taking off and pricing, measurement of works, valuation of variation
• Assist in preparation of information and records for contractual claims and insurance claims
• Assist in certifying subcontractors’ interim payment and final accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of completion job cost/income forecast
• Assist in the settlement of final accounts for both the main contract and sub contract
• Attend site inspections, site meetings and tender interviews
• Liaise with contractors, specialist, suppliers and related parties

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying /Construction Management or related disciplines
• For AQS: At least 1-2 years working experience
• For QS: Minimum 4 years working experience or 1 year post qualification experience with Membership of HKIS/RICS/AIQS
• Having experience in tendering process from cost build-up, contractual review, preparing estimating and tender submission is a must.
• Having site experience with contractor in performing services in building construction or civil engineering projects will be an advantage
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Able and willing to work under pressure and tight schedule
