Job Description
Responsibilities:
- To coordinate to plan, design and evaluate urban planning and building design with the use of visualization / computational simulation / assessment tools applicable on built environment
- To assist in producing materials, products and design concepts to brand assigned projects or action area
- To assist in procuring, managing and monitoring consultants in the planning, design and implementation of assigned projects / studies
- To assist in preparing and following up on necessary submission works in relation to planning, design and implementation aspects of assigned projects / studies with Government / other stakeholders, and deliver necessary presentations
- To assist in conducting research on new computer aided design tools and application on urban planning and design innovation
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Urban Design, Environmental Design or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience
- Proficiency in related computer graphic software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and 3-D software (AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Rhino, Enscape, etc.)
- Knowledge and skills on more advanced simulation and coding software (Flow Design, Python, Grasshopper, etc.) and experience in map-based GIS and related computational tools will be preferred
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
