Job Description:

1. Implementation of 14 elements of safety management system

2. To advise to Project Manager on:
    A. Mitigation measures to prevent injury
    B. Further improvement where necessary, in existing working methods to reduce hazards
    C. Changes in legislation and safety codes of practices
    D. Monitoring the safety performance of workers and to provide safety advice to site management from time to time

3. Ensure the Safety Regulations are complied with by maintaining frequent site inspections, training and liaison with site personnel, subcontractors and government official

4. Ensure that all first aid facilities are available for use in emergency and all equipment legally required are maintained in good working condition

5. Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections to identify hazards and help devise safety control measures jointly with the project team

6. Conduct accident investigation, if any; and recommending present measures to the site management

7. Prepare safety report, meeting minutes and safety promotion

8. Prepare, implement, maintain, monitor and review all site safety matters

9. Prepare materials / documentations for internal and external Safety Audit and ISO Certification

10. Ensure that all site activities and plant complies with all environmental regulation

11. Safety promotion

Requirements:
- 1 years post Register Safety Officer exp. (For new join)
- Register Safety Officer
- Diploma in EO course recognized by BD or above
- Diploma or above in Occupational Safety & Health / or equivalent disciplines recognized by LD
- First Aid Certificate Holder
- Subject to availability
