Our client is a highly regarded local art foundation with ongoing art programs and exhibitions in Hong Kong and Greater China with a contemporary art focus. Due to their expansion, they are now looking to hire a seasoned Senior Manager to help connect their art programs forward.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the team in all events and activities related to art foundation programs and exhibition
• Shortlist and invite potential international artists for collaboration in their cultural programs in Mainland China and Hong Kong
• Provide professional advice on art installation and logistic handling
• Coordinate with the Art Committees and the art team on program planning and operation 
• Maintain strong relationship with art handlers, artists, Art Committees for their projects 
• Contribute to the general development of the Art Foundation, including the different stages of the programme development and working groups with various members.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 10 years' experience working in the art industry or relevant project management experience (international museums, NGOs, art galleries)
• With experience of dealing with art handlers and management of whole logistics of art work delivery
• With experiences in handling museum standard top tier high value masterpieces (e.g. Picasso, Monet)
• With experiences in working with contemporary artists, engineers, project managers, architects on on-site public commission pieces
• Good team player, energetic and passionate, able to work with tight deadline
• Self-motivated, creative thinking, detailed minded, efficient and have the initiative to deliver the best quality of work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with people from different cultural background
• Good problem-solving skill
• Excellent management skills with experiences managing cross-region teams in China
