Our client is working in the cultural sector. They are now looking for new candidates that could support their research team’s further operations.

 Responsibilities

• To assist in the management and research of the museum collections and related projects
• To assist in managing and coordination exhibitions and programmes organised
• To organics and assist in monitoring museum events, lectures, workshops and other related educational activities
• To assist in the research, copywriting, editing, translation and other administrative work of the museum
• To assist in the promotion and publicity of the exhibitions and related projects
• To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisors

Requirements

• A Hong Kong university Bachelor’s Degree or above or equivalent’ majoring in Fine Arts, Arts History, History, Museum Studies, Cultural Studies, Translation or related subjects
• Level 2 in Use of English paper and Level 1 in Use of Chinese paper in Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent
• Native Cantonese and fluent English, good command of written Chinese and English. Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
• High proficiency in copywriting, proofreading, translation, editing and typing skills in both Chinese and English
• Proficient in common computer applications and Chinese Word Processing
• Proficient in using social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram) and electronic devices; preferably possess photo editing and elementary video editing skills
• Preferably have at least 1-year full-time experience of working in museums, universities or art institutions. With knowledge of Chinese art or work experience in Chinese art related research, management and coordination is an advantage
• Be devoted, self-motivated, detail-minded, efficient and with good communication skills.

 We Offer 

• 12-Month Contract
• 9:30am – 6:18pm from Monday to Friday
• Working Location: Tsim Sha Tsui
