Be a team member of the Accounting and Finance team and to provide financial accounting services to business units (e.g. review and input journal entries, prepare account reconciliations and schedules, handle accounting enquiries, etc.)

Responsibilities:

Daily Tasks 

• Monitor, check and reconcile sales, cash received and accounts receivable of shops;
• Handle expenses and petty cash claims;
• Handle daily accounting function and full set of accounts diligently;
• Prepare/Review vouchers before posting;
• Maintain proper financial records and vouchers;
• Coordinate with other departments for daily accounting and financial process;

Quarterly & Monthly Tasks 

• Perform monthly accounts closing procedures;
• Prepare accounting schedules for management reporting and audit purposes;
• Prepare monthly cash flow forecast and report to Head Office; 
• Prepare monthly management accounts;
• Prepare quarterly group reporting packages;

Others

• Assist in annual budgeting and budget control;
• Assist in KPI reporting and monitor;
• Supervise and assist in improving company financial policies;
• Assist in tax reporting;
• Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audit;
• Follow up ad-hoc project as request

Requirements:

• Holder of university degree or above;
• Member of professional accountancy body (HKICPA is preferred);
• 3 years or above relevant working experience (experience in retail industry is a plus);
• External audit experience is preferred;
• Proficient in computer application, e.g. Excel, Words, PowerPoint and Chinese Words Processing;
• Familiar with computerized accounting system (Experience in SAP system is a plus);
• Able to work independently and under pressure;
• Strong presentation, communication and inter-personal skills;
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese, Mandarin and English
