The Staff Accountant will be responsible for our APAC entities’ monthly closing and accounts payable and receivable operations.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounts Payable

• Responsible for vendor and teammate master data creation and maintenance
• Assist in monthly scorecard and finance management report preparation
• Support month-end closing to prepare accounts reconciliation and investigate variance
• Review expenses (vendor invoices and teammates’ reimbursements) and ensure in compliance with company policy and internal control standards
• Perform vendor invoice reconciliation and payment
• Assist in process improvement to streamline daily operations that are in compliant with local GAAP or US GAAP and the company policy
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned including support for annual statutory audit

Accounts Receivable

• Perform day-to-day checking with reconciliation between retail sale report, SAP CAR and SAP FMS for Korea O&O business
• Perform monthly AP-AR offset for Korea O&O business.
• Perform monthly reconciliation and operation on licensing business
• Assist in invoice reconciliation and clearing for Inter-company business

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in Accounting or related discipline
• 2-3 years' accounting experiences in sizeable multinational company. Retail experience with regional exposure is a plus.
• Independent and able to meet pressure and tight deadline
• Ability to perform multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with different culture
• Strong analytical skill, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Gained regional experience in multinational company & sizable companies is highly preferable 
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
• Proficient in MS Office applications with excellent skill using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with Ariba or other procurement system is a plus
• Experience with SAP FMS or other large ERP systems is a plus
• Experience with Concur or other T&E system is a plus
